"I forgot, I have something to show you! You're gonna love it ! "  said Andrei suddenly . My eyes already flickered with curiosity. I thought he meant Sweet Days , the sugary fair held at hotel Continental this year, which I  already knew about.

We were still sitting in the car, in front of Klausenburg Café, intimidated by rain . On our left, the coffee for which we left home, was waiting for us, and by our right, the sweets fair huge poster made me hunger for those little mousse cakes filled with jam. I asked him what he meant, while my mouth was watering.

He told me about an article he stumbled upon yesterday morning, and he was eager to see my reaction ever since. My boyfriend was right , I loved the story he told me and I got so excited, that I decided to tell you all what it was about, right away!

You'll love it too! It's the kind of story that helps you keep a smile on, over this rainy days and the best part is, that it's a true story, and it's going on right now, here, in Cluj!

Okay. So, there's a guy in our town, I have no idea who he is and it doesn't even matter. What does matter is what he does: he leaves an envelope with money in a public place and tells people about it, through his
Twitter and Facebook account. Anybody can go and pick up the money.

There's nothing special about the envelope itself, just that it's noted with the hashtag #BaniCuSuflet ( ~money from the heart ) and the date when it was delivered. The amount of money inside remains a mystery, except for the lucky person that finds it. The intent is this: anyone looking to have fun and make a good deed should enjoy half of the amount placed in the envelope. The other half should be gifted to a person less fortunate. Simply brilliant!

I imagine a scenario where someone in need would find the money, without knowing about the game organized behind it online and that it would make a significant difference in their lives. It could be both a stranger, as well as a close person. We all know at least someone that we could help, if we would find the envelope ourselves, right?

We all have bad days and problems,  but the mere thought, that somebody else actually cares about it, alleviates our suffering. We often forget that we are all together in this world, and that we can make it better only by sticking together. So when there's an initiatives to promote such values, we should appreciate it and take it as an example. BaniCuSuflet gives us a model of how we can be better people, by taking part in the fun;

You can follow his posts on Twitter or Facebook and find the money that you split with anyone in need (or give it all away, it's your choice), or make an envelope yourself.

The envelope which you'll give to the world, should be simple. Write the hashtag #BaniCuSuflet and the date (see pictures on twitter.com/banicusuflet) with a black marker and put the following instructions inside:

1. Take a picture with the envelope and upload it on Twitter or Facebook with the tag #BaniCuSuflet, without saying how much money there's inside.
2. Give away half of the money to somebody in need and take a picture while doing so.
3. Upload the second picture on Twitter or Facebook with the same tag, #BaniCuSuflet.

That's it!

( I found the instructions BaniCuSuflet has left us on Damian Gicoveanu's Blog. )

The thing is, that when we  do find the envelope, we should tell the world about our adventure. As well about the "treasure", as for the way we shared our luck with somebody else we thought could use it. - The more people find out about BaniCuSuflet, the better!

"I really hope it goes viral."I told my boyfriend when he finished telling me about Crivat Andrei's article, who took an interview of the guy behind # BaniCuSuflet We decided that we really want to take part on the action. Then we just stood there, thinking about what else we can do to awaken peoples compassion. We came up with a few ideas of our own, but I decided to start by writing this article... what would YOU do? How could you make someone smile?

"Am uitaat, trebuie sa-ti arat ceva! ASA o sa-ti placa!", turuie Andrei dintr-o data. Deja imi sclipeau ochii.

Cu totii avem zile proaste si probleme, iar simplul gand ca ar fi cineva caruia sa-i pese, ne alina suferinta. Uitam adesea ca suntem toti impreuna in lumea asta, si ca numai impreuna o putem face mai buna. Iar cand sunt initiative care sa promoveze astfel de valori, ar trebui apreciate si luate ca exemplu. BaniCuSuflet ne da un model prin care putem fi mai buni, luand parte la distractie;
