The music was roaring, but our gossip was louder. On my right: Miha, grinning at me. My friend was wide awake, shining, telling me everything she's been up to since we've last met. Behind us, a mountain of girly gym gear, water bottles, trainers and two pairs of high heels that I keep in my car for spontaneous special occasions . Navy blue and bright purple mattresses made my back seats invisible.

Most of the Living Fit classes were going on outside, but we were lucky: the clouds shattered and the sun was up! It was 10 o'clock in the morning and we've never been this eager to start moving our bodies.

So I drove fast, the empty Sunday morning streets reminded me how much I love driving. We arrived quickly and what we found was the Cluj Arena covered in sweet chaos.


Rasetele si barfele noastre acopereau muzica data prea tare. In dreapta mea: Miha, zambitoare. Prietena mea animata, stralucind, imi povestea tot ce s-a mai intamplat in viata ei de la ultima noastra intalnire. In spatele nostru, un munte de echipament de sala in culori feminine, sticle de apa, adidasi si doua perechi de tocuri pastrate in masina pentru ocazii speciale, neprevazute. Saltelutele albastru marin si lila imi acopereau in intregime bancheta din spate.

Majoritatea claselor de la Living Fit se petreceau afara, dar am avut noroc: norii s-au imprastiat si soarele trona pe cer. Era abia ora 10 dimineata, iar noi nu am fost niciodata mai dornice sa ne punem in miscare.

Asa ca ne-am grabit spre Cluj Arena. Straziile goale de duminica dimineata amintindu-mi cat de mult imi place sa conduc. Cand am ajuns ne-a intampinat un dulce haos.

There was so much going on that we got lost in the rush, missing out on our very first class, 50 minutes of "wake up your body" cycling. The session was at the 3rd floor, on a balcony with a gorgeous view over our city. We came back later, hurrying up to find seats in the front row.

Working out under the sun, filling up our lungs with fresh air felt absolutely incredible. We also attended a basic nutrition workshop and visited most of the protein bar stands to taste all of the chocolaty samples..

But then we realized: our batteries were out! We've given our best at the TRX corner and the breathtaking rooftop cycling, that we had to take a break. 

"Damn it" There was still so much I wanted to try out.. - We came back later, ambitious to go for another class: Capoeira. A Brazilian martial art - dance combination. We played along the first 10minutes. Miha bailed, off to have a coffee. Another 5minutes past and the Brazilian trainer started dancing through the masses of women, having so much fun on the fast rhythm of Brazilian music.

Me? I was at least 3 steps behind. I understood none of it. My legs we're shaky and all the energy drinks I've had that morning couldn't help me any longer. "Oh noo!"  The trainer was coming in my direction.

I was hiding behind a tall lady and her friend. "Did he see me?" - "... uuhhh, I think so! I'm out of here!"

I ran to catch up with my friends and grab a coffee too. The trainer was getting too close and a disclosure of my faulty steps was inevitable. No need to make a fool of myself, right?

Wrong! - I still hate myself for not keeping up with the crew and giving up. There was a particular energy about the happy songs and moves of that dance sport.

The good part is, that I'm feeling super motivated now. I KNOW what I've got to do. Not only have I discovered new workout moves, but I've also seen a lot of great looking women, with incredible bodies, that keep me inspired. I feel like reinventing my bikini body altogether.

Se intamplau asa de multe lucuri simultan, incat ne-am pierdut  cu totul in agitatie, ratand prima clasa: 50 de minute de cycling "wake up your body" .  Am aflat apoi ca orele de cycling se tineau sus, la etajul 3, pe un balcon cu o vedere incredibila asupra orasului. Ne-am intors mai tarziu, hotarate sa prindem locuri chiar in primul rand.

E absolut genial sa faci antrenamentele sub cerul liber, cu plamanii plini de aer proaspat. Ne-am alaturat si unui workshop de nutritie si ne-am oprit la fiecare stand care oferea batoane proteice invelite in ciocolata.

N-a durat mult pana sa ne dam seama ca bateriile noastre s-au terminat. Am dat tot ce am putut la TRX si la ora de cycling, cu privelistea ei inspirationala, dar acum aveam nevoie de o pauza.

"La naiba!" Voiam sa mai incerc atatea antrenamente.. - Mai tarziu ne-am intors, ambitioase sa continuam cu urmatoarea clasa: Capoeira. O combinatie braziliana de arte martiale in ritmuri de dans. Primele 10 minute ne prefaceam si noi ca facem pasii. Miha m-a parasit imediat pentru o cafea. Au mai trecut 5 minute si l-am vazut pe antrenor distrandu-se copios pe muzica braziliana, dansand printre masele de femei din jurul meu.

Eu? Eram cu minim 3 pasi in urma. Nu intelegeam nimic. Picioarele imi tremurau si eram suparata ca toate bauturile energizante pe care le-am degustat in dimineata aceea nu se mai resimteau. "Oo nuuu!" Antrenorul venea spre mine.

Stateam ascunsa dupa o doamna mai inalta cu iubitul ei "Oare m-a vazut? - "  ....hiiii, asa cred! Gata, am plecat!"

Am fugit dupa prietenii mei sa-mi iau si eu o cafea. Mai aveam putin si s-ar fi prins antrenorul ca facem totul pe langa. Nu era nevoie sa ma fac de ras, nu?

Gresit! - Inca nu m-am iertat pentru ca m-am dat batuta. Era o energie pozitiva cu totul deosebita in dansul si muzica aceea.

Partea buna este, ca acum sunt ultra motivata! STIU ce am de facut. Nu numai ca am descoperit o gramada de antrenamente noi, ci am avut ocazia sa ma inspir, vazand atatea femei incredibil de fit. Vreau sa-mi reinventez cu totul corpul pentru vara.

I've lost 7kg keeping it in only 2 weeks. BOOM.

We've still got time to get in shape before summer. Run, ladies, run!

Ma intorc astfel la sala mai pasionata ca niciodata, si cu o febra musculara pe masura.

Iar pentru voi.. Am o surpriza!

Voi posta saptamana viitoare o cura pe blog.

Nu e orice cura, e dieta cu care am slabit eu 7kg in doar 2 saptamani.

Inca mai avem timp sa ne intram in forma inainte sa inceapa vara: La alergat, gagici!
